Little Things Make Big Impacts

Little things continue to make big impacts. Small amounts of money can make so much difference to those living in the slums of Phnom Penh as you can see from the pictures below.

Srey Mey was given a small donation so that she could buy a new bike. Her old bike was broken and not only does it make it easier for her to travel to and from school but the small contribution also shows that somebody cares for her.

Mrs Peak Nary was treated to a new pair of shoes. Since using her new cart she has doubled her daily takings but we still wanted to treat her as she will initially spend the extra money on more food for her and her two children (her husband is in prison and her son has mental health issues; he begs in the streets to get money for food).

Thank you again to those who contributed to these “small” gifts, you really have made a big impact.
